Welcome to The Slate Estate! This fully renovated, 3 story house is the perfect home for your Columbus stay. Right in the heart of the action, you'll be very close to all Columbus has to offer: concerts, conferences downtown, local attractions, and Columbus sporting events. - Fully stocked kitchen - 2 living areas - 4 bedrooms - 3 bathrooms - Privacy fenced in backyard - Free parking With central location near all Columbus has to offer, it's a great landing place after all your adventures.

Good to know

Each bedroom features: - new mattress - black out curtains - luggage rack - Plus, there's an additional queen mattress in the couch on the 3rd floor. 2 living rooms (on first and third floors) 3 bathrooms (1 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor) Extra blankets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. There is a broom, vacuum, and spray mop available to you in case you need them! For the winter months, we will shovel and put down salt, but there are both a shovel and bucket of salt in the closet on the first floor in case of emergencies. If you need a pack n play or an air mattress, please let us know, and we will provide what you need.

Other Details to Note

Please note that the bathroom attached to the Queen bedroom on the second floor does not have a door closing it off from the room.

House Rules

- Guests may park on the street in front of the house as well as in the gravel spot next to the garage. - No open invitation parties or events. - The maximum property capacity is 20 people. - You may use the laundry room whenever you’d like. There are tide to go pods available for your use and dryer balls in the dryer. - Remember to close and lock the windows and lock the door to keep your valuables safe. The door is unlocked and locked by the same code given to you at check in. - Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonable, timely manner. Before checking out, please: - Turn off lights and tvs. - Close and lock the door and all windows. - Throw away all trash and left over food in the trash cans inside the house. - Run the dishwasher or hand wash any dirty dishes. - Double check that you have clothing, electronics, and other personal items.

Neighborhood

Located between OSU campus, the Short North Arts district and the Brewery District; a short drive to the Arena District and Downtown Columbus, Weinland Park is a terrific neighborhood to be right near where you want to be for your stay in Columbus.

Guest Access

You will have the whole house to yourself. You can access the house through the front or back door, both of which have a keypad deadbolt. You'll receive a unique code to use for locking and unlocking the door. There is a laundry that you're welcome to use as needed, with laundry detergent provided.

2nd time we've stayed at the Slate Estate and we just love the space! It's easy to walk to events on High Street, and there is ample space to spread out in the house. The third floor 2nd living room is very peaceful, it's a perfect spot to sit in the morning and have a cup of coffee looking out of the third floor window. The hosts are very responsive and flexible, and better than both - extremely nice! They have always done anything we've needed to make our stay exactly what we hoped for, and we couldn't ask for more! Five stars all around!

Oh man! What a great stay! They were so very accommodating for us- extended family and my family of 5. It was great having the backyard for the kids. My husband had surgery at Wexner Medical Center and the house was so close and they were so helpful to us during a challenging time. The house was perfect! Walking distance to great food and brewery. I would stay again for sure!

Find us

The best around Columbus is by car. Whether you drive, order an Uber/Lyft, or call a cab, there are many driving options around town. Additionally, there are motorized scooters (Lime, Bird, etc) around town to take to your next stop. Finally, COTA public transportation is an easy way around town.
